My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. The staff was super helpful and even brought me a bacon sandwich to go when I missed breakfast. The location was great for sightseeing, but there was a slight issue with the sewage smell due to the soil stack outside my window. The dining experience was good with friendly staff, though some improvement could be made in the service aspect.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They even brought an extra heater to our room and accommodated bringing breakfast while my wife looked after our children. However, they tried hard but had some issues.

The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Ely City center, with easy access to the Cathedral and the River. The rooms are very insulated but need renovation, and the entrance hall shows signs of wear. The service was lacking courtesy initially with self-check-in and abrupt communication. The dining experience is now self-service with limited options. However, the Italian coffee was delightful.
